What do you think about the new developments that are going up in West Humboldt Park? What are some of the solutions? Do we really want to lose our homes and neighbors just so we can have a Starbucks that we can't even enjoy? What are your thoughts?

Not all Starbucks are bad!

We need to look at the positives of Gentrification. I live in this community and I see so many people who do not take care of there property, and who down right don't care about what happens! Gentrification is change! In many of our communities it is something that we need, and yes I understand that many of us are not able to pay our taxes, but we need to do something about bring a positive change to our community and not push things away that we are not familiar with. Plus I love Starbucks!
