The Community Meeting a Huge Success

Thanks to all who attended our February Community Meeting on Thursday.

The turnout was great!

Thanks to Connie @ Calvary for the information on "Fire Wall" , a free after school program for middle school kids.  (if you or someone you know are interested in the after school program, please contact Connie @ 561.883.6798 or carcionemail@bellsouth.net.

Thank you to Dunkin Donuts for providing refreshments for the meeting.  Good Luck to the new Owner & Manager!

Our new Community Police Officers were introduced and welcomed and all were thanked by the residents for their

hard work and many accomplishments.

Some new residents attended the meeting and introduced themselves, welcome to all of you and welcome back to the residents who have attended previous meetings, it was great to see you all!

Several topics were discussed such as this new website, the Community Yard Sale in March, the Great American Cleanup in April and the upcoming Community Crime Watch meeting.  Deputy Goodard also explained how the PBSO PAL Program benefits our neighborhood directly and Sgt. Gallagher suggested that activities be planned for the older adults in the Community.

Suggestions by some of the residents were made... such as...for those participating in the Community Yard Sale, after the sale you may want to pack up the remaining items and send them to Haiti or donate them to charity...bring in a canned good for a food pantry...and Calvary is collecting sheets to be sent to Haiti.

After the meeting, someone said that  "it is nice to feel a sense of community"

We couldn't agree more.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the next event!
