Transients

We all need to call the city to pressure them into tearing this house down. It has been condemned and is a huge eye sore. I spoke with a fire marshall that was at the house 8 months ago and he assured me that the city was going to tear it down, yet nothing has been done. There are always transients sleeping on the porch or hanging out in the yard. If anyone has any contacts with the city, please pressure them to tear this house down. People live in the shed, although there is no plumbing (which is illegal) and that is wht the fire marshall said he would contact the city.

bikes stolen

We live on Woodlawn. Last week, our shed was broken into, ransacked and 2 bikes stolen. Seems like someone jumped the fence from the alley as both gates were closed. This is just one of several times this has happened to us in 10 years living in Riverside Heights. Our cars have been broken into several times as well!
