It has been a couple of months now since the traffic changes were implemented within Washington Park. I would appreciate any feedback that the neighbors have about the changes. If you have any stories or opinions that you would like me to pass on to the Park Board please send me an e-mail or give me a call. I would like to submit an official opinion about the traffic changes from the Associatioin to the Park Board within their six month evaluation period, aproximately December 15, 2009.

Along with the traffic changes the Park Board increased the hours for the Park Police patrols. The added hours are an improvement for the safety of our neighborhood, but I encourage all of the neighbors to be on the lookout and report any suspicious activity.

I was hoping to organize a block party before the weather turned too cold but it seems that the Fall temperatures are already here. There still may be time to get something organized if there is any interest. If someone would like to take the lead on planning a block party or house party please let me know.
