The West Point Board of Directors has started exploring the idea of creating an offical web site.

The HOA has already registered www.westpointresidents.com and are looking at getting a professional web site created with more information and timely updates.

As homeowners, what would you like to see in the new website?

Informative updated minutes

I go to school and work full-time so I really don't have time to go to the meetings. I would if I could. So if there was one thing that I would like to see on the new website is current minutes. I especially like the format that surprizeaz.com has done their council minutes for the last couple of meetings. Very informative, I feel like I was there.
Also, how about a way to complain about our neighbors yards without printing our name? I feel like I'm the only one on the block that gives a hoot about my yard. My neighbors yards are unattended for months at a time and I know that they are not getting fined. I thought Patty was supposed to be cracking down on that?
Another web site?

Would the Boards web site be replacing the neighborhoodlink site, or coexist with it?

Co-exist!

The other web site would be the official HOA web site and would be run and maintained by the Board of Directors. It would have timely updates, more information and documents that could be downloaded.

This web site was started by a West Point resident and that resident is the only one who has the ability to update this site at this time. That resident has not been around for about 4-6 months which means this site has not been updated in quite some time. The Board has decided to move ahead with the official site.

This site will still exist, but I could not tell you how often, if at all, it would be updated.

The HOA web site will have all the CC&R's, the Bylaws, the ability to download and print architectural requests, as well as some very other cool features.

Of course, the Board would like the input from the residents as to what they would like to see on the web site.

Currently, we are only in the analysis phase so as things develop, I'll post them on this board.
