WPTC Board Announces a New President

David Sobelman Elected President by Board of Directors

The Board of Directors would like to announce that David Sobelman,
U.S. Home Representative, has been elected President of the Board of Directors for the West Point Towne Center Homeowner's Association.
Dave Brown Representative, Mark Goss, has stepped down as President of the Board of Directors and moved to member-at-large for personal reasons.
Mark made his decision because he felt it was in the best interest of the community, as well as the board. Mark still has the same goals and desires to enhance West Point, and will continue to represent his neighbors and cast votes on issues effecting the West Point Community.
The Board of Directors would also like to personally thank Bob Baratko for volunteering for the financial committee and Beth VanDoren for volunteering for the lobbying committee. At the August Board meeting, the Board of Directors officially created the Financial Committee and will designate Bob as the Chairperson. At the September Board meeting, the Board of Directors will make a motion to officially create the lobbying committee and will nominate Beth as the Chairperson for that committee.
Residents who are interested in creating or joining a committee are asked to attend the Board meeting on Monday, September 23 in the West Point Elementary library at 7:00 p.m.
