This is a ONE time event for our small neighborhood to come together and plan.

We need lights.

We need sidewalks.

We need traffic calming.

We need a mini park.

We may need some art projects.

We may need some Home Repairs.

Problem solving with B2B

The date is Feb. 12th and theres a problem over the style of lights that we are going to get.

The best way of lighting this neighborhood is the basic 30 ft high lights like the ones used by most of the B2B neighborhoods.

A few of the residents want to spend more money for less lighting, and in this neighborhood it is a safety issue and the best lighting is the 30 ft standard lights.

There will be further discussion at the meeting with the lights committee on March 12th ... Hope to gt this resolved asap in March or April.

Still in a rut over the lights!

There are 3 holdouts for shorter light poles and we are almost out of time.
The City has given us a lot of options , yet we can't come to a decision yet, It is now almost May and we have to do something very soon.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What has been happening?

We have finally settled the lighting issues.. we have settled the sidewalk issues....we have decided on our trees, except for the amount of them..we want to discuss adding a few more because we have saved $40,000.00 by using the high sodium lights that were agreed upon at the May 7, 2001 Mayor and Council meeting.
All is going well for now....5/8/2001
