In May aty a SNAPP meeting I was told that WEST OCHOA NEIGHBORHOOD had been selected to be the next "BACK TO BASICS" Neighborhood.

It was great news. Since we are a small neighborhood , that money will go a long way towards making our neighborhood a more child-friendly and safe neighborhood to live in.

With the project of a pocket park taking out a very small portion, there will be enough there for some majot improvements like lights and sidewalks and traffic calming.

We all need to come together for the planning and decision making for this great event.

Thanks to Vice-Mayor Steve Leal in his decision to help the West Ochoa Neighborhood realize a dream.
