and you also tell me you cant do anything about the neighbor i have that never mows his lawn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is true that our neighborhood board can do no more to a neighbor with an unmowed lawn than any other neighbor.  What the board can do (and does do) is explain in the newsletter periodically what the city's codes and ordinances expect of each homeowner in regards to the height of the lawn.  The board also has explained that a call to 311 can be made by any neighbor to report violations.  If the neighbor is in violation, a sign will be posted indicating how long they have before a fine will be handed down to them.  If the neighbor is not in violation, nothing happens.
