Villa Del Mar Neighbors

How do we keep our reserved spots clear?

Posted in: Villa Del Mar

I've had a problem keeping people out of my reserved spot. I've found it's mostly my neighbor's visitors who park there. I've overheard them telling their friends to park in the spot which I immediately reminded them that it says reserved in huge letters for a reason. I've talked to the neighbors, even had to go knock on their door in the middle of the night and politely asked them to have their guests move - I was told their guests would be leaving in about 20 minutes or so and should just wait. I told them I shouldn't have to wait for a spot that isn't theirs to use to begin with.

I've been told there is a phone number posted somewhere that we could call to have the cars towed, but I cannot find it anywhere. I'm at my wits end. I am tired of coming home and having to try and park on my short driveway (a small car doesn't even fit on it) while I wait for these people to move. I'm tired of having to knock on doors and ask people to move. I'm sick of this being a constant issue. It's not fair that I'm constantly being pushed out of a spot that is clearly marked for my use. Parking in my very small driveway is not an option nor should it be. This was never an issue until my recent neighbors moved in and as I said, I'm getting really tired of this. Does anyone have any ideas? Short of having someone stand out there all day to make sure they stay out, I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions or the number of the towing company would be greatly appreciated.
