COST (CITIZENS OPPOSED TO THE SAN TAN PROJECT) is having a demonstration at the SRP ELECTRIC PLANT (Val Vista & Warner) on SATURDAY, AUG.26, at 10AM. In a recent newspaper article, SRP claims that the majority of Gilbert residents are in favor of this expansion. If you oppose this project, show your support by coming on Saturday. It is extremely important to show SRP, the town of Gilbert, local and state policicians, the ACC (ARIZONA CORPORATION COMMISSION), and the Line Citing Committee that MANY of us are against this expansion. If we do not act now and if SRP gets their permit, it will be too late to do anything and we will have a major power plant in our neighborhood. Our health and our property values are at stake!!
