Gates Closed

One of the reasons I moved here was because it is a gated community. They should remain closed.

I Paid For Gates

A safe, gated community is what my wife and I paid for. Please keep the gates closed as often as possible.

Gates should be closed!!!!!!

That this is even debatable makes my blood boil. This is a gated community and anyone who bought in here should expect that the gates be utilized to the fullest extent possible. It's not as if we are asking to assess the homeowners so that we can add a system, it is already there for our use. Further, if the bi-laws allow the board to make a decision as important as this, the document should be amended.

What possible objections could there be to having them closed? The number of people that could get the code is certainly a much smaller number than could simply drive in at their convenience while I am at work or away on the weekend. The ''inconvenience'' of having to press a button on your overhead visor and slowing down a bit? Please!

We agree the gates should be closed at all times. At the same time it is probably unsafe for people to be giving out their access codes to service people. These codes give 24 hr access to our community.

One suggestion would be to keep the gates closed at all times and to have a single day time only access code that homeowners can use for cleaners, yard
service etc.
