The recent rains have been great for our plants. They have also carried with them lots of weeds. The Zoning Ordinance prescribes maintenance for front yards and plants visible from the public way. To make it simple but not completely accurate; if it's a weed, grass or similar it should be no higher than 12''. All dead plants should be removed. This includes side yards outside your fence next to the street and your half of the alley. The City sprayed weed killer in the alleys last week to try to control growth. Dont count on it working.
