Mission Statement
The mission of the Apache Junction Police Departments Animal Control Division is to provide service to the community in as professional, efficient, and courteous a manner as possible.
Our mission is to protect the public from animal-inflicted injuries, to promote responsible pet ownership and to provide for the control of rabies by:
* Controlling the stray and unwanted animal population; and
* Operating rabies vaccination and dog licensing programs; and
* Educating the public about animal behavior and responsible pet ownership\
