I noticed that the name of the HOA went from being Edgebrooke 1 to Edgebrooke Village with the fact that NONE of the residents were sent a notice or a ballot asking people to come up up with a proposed "new" name for the community. It was just simply changed without notices being sent out. I know because my father owns the house my family and I live in and he was not made aware that the name was going to change.
From what I understand is that there isn't even a "full board" to make such decisions as big as this. There has to be a full board to send out ballots, have a forum and then have a vote on said change.
This is one of the reasons I have stopped coming to the "monthly meetings." They're boring and repeat the same complaints over and over.
Can anyone explain to me HOW a name can be changed without a community vote? Thank you Becky Small (lot 81)
