DIRECTOR?’S CORNER:
ANNUAL MEETING
The Association met on May 15, 2002. As in the past a quorum was not met for the election. During the meeting, the following items were discussed:

Go-peds and Town of Gilbert laws,

Stonecreek HOA financials,

Pool vandalism/closures/guard service,

Other vandalism,

Future capital projects under consideration.

During the meeting, five homeowners were awarded one month?’s free dues in our annual raffle.

As of Memorial Weekend, a security guard will be at the pool 8 hours a day 7 days a week. The hours that the security guard will be present will vary so vandals do not anticipate a routine. You and your family will need to present your pool key and sign in with your name and address.

Finally, we would like to take a moment to thank Sean Callahan and Jeff D?’Aurora. Both homeowners retired from the Stonecreek Board of Directors and made tremendous contributions to your Association. We appreciate all of their efforts in helping to insure the financial stability and increased home values in Stonecreek HOA. Thank you.

Pool - replace tile $49.00

Restroom - repair toilet in men?’s room $70.00

NEW CALCULATIONS FOR SEWER BILL NOW IN EFFECT
?“Each year, the Town of Gilbert calculates a fee charged to utility users for monthly sewer service. The fee is based on the amount of water used in the household. Therefore, the sewer fee varies from home to home, depending upon previous water usage.

?“In May of each year, the newly calculated fee goes into effect. You may notice a slight difference in your monthly utility bills.

?“If you have any questions on your monthly utility bill, please call the Utility section at 480-503-6800.?”

June Is National Scleroderma
Awareness Month.

What is Scleroderma?
Scleroderma is a chronic, often progressive autoimmune disease (like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and multiple sclerosis) in which the body's immune system attacks its own tissues.

The disease, which literally means "hard skin," can cause thickening and tightening of skin, as well as serious damage to internal organs including the lungs, heart, kidneys, esophagus, and gastrointestinal tract. Scleroderma occurs three to four times more often in women than in men.

For some individuals, Scleroderma is a nuisance. For others, it is a life-threatening disease. For most people with Scleroderma, the disease has a serious impact on daily life. And, although medications can sometimes help, there is no cure yet.
