Dear St. George Resident:

The purpose of this letter is to recognize and address any complications in reference to your most recent garbage bill. First and foremost we truly apologize for any misunderstandings or distress this bill may have caused. As you read further this letter explains exactly what this bill is, and how you may pay your bill.

Last week we mailed a bill to you in the amount of $309.72. This amount represents your garbage bill for the period January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006. Due to the recent annexation, your garbage bill was removed from your tax bill for this year. As a result, the City is billing you for your garbage directly. There are two options for you to pay your bill.

?• If you currently have an escrow account with your mortgage, please contact your mortgage company and request that they pay the bill. If they agree to pay, please provide your name, account number, check Option 1 and complete mortgage Contact information.

?• If you currently don?’t have a mortgage, don?’t escrow your taxes, or your mortgage company tells you that they will not pay your bill, you must choose one of the payment methods listed under Option 2. Please provide your name, account number, check Option 2 and select which method you intend to use.

You have until December 31, 2006, to make full payment,
and there will NOT BE A LATE FEE applied to your outstanding balance.
