Mr. Karl Hall,
Can we get a to scale diagram of what you were describing for the new entrance and plans to have it completed so that other owners can be apprised of what your wonderful plans are for a major improvement to tying into US HWY 17. Maybe if we ask nicely Tom and Diane can find a place for it on our neighborhood Blog. I have a scanner if they do not and can always email it so it can be posted in our future endeavors.
Great Idea!

Karl (Briggs), That's a really good idea. I tried to describe it in words on this site, but a picture would be much better. I've been thinking of getting it drawn-up so we can have a mason crew do the wall thing. By the way, Karl Hall said he rarely looks at his email (and I think his email address bounced when I tried to send the website link to him) So far, only you and Wendi have reviewed and commented. Please try to get logged on as admin guys ... OK?

Entranceway Description (words)

Karl, Here's what I put in the ''Community Info'' section of the site. A picture would be good there, but sometimes the host won't provide space for it. I've had to reduce the pixels (like I know what I'm talking about) to get the photos in.

''Relocation of Buckhorn Road at US17 Intersection
The Road Committee is about to let a contract for shifting the intersection of Buckhorn Road and US17 so that our road is aligned with the median cross-over on US17. The plan is for Buckhorn Road to jog to the left (leaving Buckfield Farms) before the Buckfield Farms sign, and pass around the front of the pond. Then the road will turn right to cross the US17 drainage ditch (new culverts will be installed) and intersect US17 at the median cross-over. The Buckfield Farms sign will be removed, and a brick and stucco wall will be built, curving along the side of the relocated road entrance...so that you can read ''Buckfield Farms'' in embossed letters as you drive into the neighborhood. The low (3-ft) wall will be on your right and curve with the road (to keep poor driver out of the pond as they come into the community).''

pic hosting

Free web pagers are usually very stingy with sharing FTP space for photos. I use Image Shack it?’s free of all the bugs and you can use quite a bit to host all photos in several formats. You can cut and paste or use as hyper link to view directly. http://www.imageshack.us/
