That would be a good idea as well as the University has agreed to put sidewalk up to Bellemeade.

That is wonderful news!!  Thanks for responding so quickly.  BTW, you are a very good mayor.  Hope you're running again b/c you will have my vote.

No, no, no,no, absolutely not if what I was told today is the truth!!!!!!!!!!  Another resident told me that the cost of $100,000.00 would have to be split between Metro and Bellemeade.  Absolutely NOT!!!!!!!!

Bellemeade has streets to maintain (all except North Chadwick Road and it is 50/50), street lights to keep lit, stop signs to keep upright, Bellemeade Road needs speed humps BIG TIME, Dorchester needs speed humps, stop signs need to be erected at places already voted by city commission, North Chadwick  Road needs twomore speedhumps, insurance has to be paid, entrances must be kept looking good, and contingencies do happen.

Ladies and gentlemen, correct me where I am wrong.

We pay half of cost of building sidewalks.

We pay 100% of the cost of maintaing them.

We pay 100% of the insurance covering tort liability on them.

_______% of Bellemeade residents will walk on them.

Bottom line:  How will the sidewalks do anything to benefit any Bellemeade resdient?
