I feel the safety of our children is at risk.  The children that wait for the Landmark Middle School Bus are put in jeopardy every time they cross Ashley Melisse.  So many children are crossing this busy rode before the bus arrives.  If you haven't taken a look in the mornings, you need to.  Some of the children are playing chicken with the cars. The group that accumulates in front of Nottingham Harbour is so large that many times the children are standing in the road.  I have witnessed students throwing things at the moving cars.  Children have been hanging in the trees and on the Nottingham Harbour sign.  It is in the best interest of the children living in Ashley Woods to wait in front of Ashley Woods subdivision until the bus arrives.  The open area is larger and more accommodating.  The bus has more leverage when it comes to stopping both lanes of traffic than a child.  Please help keep our children safe.
