MLK there was not pick ups. The yard waste crews are working to pickup trash.

Most of you seemed to get the memo, but there are a few locations with lots of yard wste out.
Chance of snow on the weekend on Sunday 25th. If that happens that could also affect pickups next week. Check with City of Charlotte Solid Waste on their web site, 311, or on the app to be sure if weather is bad.
MLK used to be one day delayed pickup with workers picking up Friday on Saturday. This year you have regular day pickups with the exception of Monday and they are being caught up using yard waste trucks for trash starting Tuesday morning.
On 4 day weeks set your carts out on regular collection day and leave until picked up. If collection has not occurred within 48 hours call 311.
The other Holidays operating like thisMLK week with NO Yard Waste are Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Dates no yard waste are Jan 19-23, May 25-29, and Sept 7-11.
