Rotary Club of Casselberry

Front Entrance Beautification

Posted in: Indian Hills
As you may know, your Association applied for & won a grant from the City of Casselberry. The purpose of the grant is to empower citizens to enhance the overall quality of life in their neighborhood through citizen and government partnerships. To qualify, neighborhood boundries must be within City limits & funds must be used for the common areas.

While we have discussed this grant & our proposed plans at many meetings, we would still like your input as how best to put this award to work. As a portion of our developement is in Casselberry and that portion contains our main entrance, use of funds is concentrated there. We were awarded $900.00 last year, which we used to add landscape lights to the front entrance! This year, we would like to add additional flower beds containing flowering ornamental trees & perennials to add color & brighten the island. We need volunteers to provide labor, a required in-kind donation, for site preparation, planting & laying mulch. Please sign-up at the next meeting or call an Association Officer to be added to the list.

Need volunteers 7/7/01 @ 10AM!

For those of you who pass by the front entrance, you'll notice that we are about 75% done with our Beautification project. We could really use your help to finish this project next weekend. Any one who can spare an hour to come out and help would be greatly appreciated!
