Eugene,

Section 2 of the Fort Lauderdale bill reads, in part, ''Should all unincorporated areas east of State Road 7 vote to incorporate into the City of Fort Lauderdale, Broward County will pay to the City of Fort Lauderdale $6,000,000 annually for ten (10) years. The payment by the County will be adjusted according to which neighborhoods vote to incorporate into the City of Fort Lauderdale.''

Straight text.

1. Were will the County Commissioners get the funds from?

2. Will the Central County Residents have to pay that money back?

3. Why would Fort Lauderdale need $6,000,000 a year for ten years to annex the Central County Area, Over and above our Tax Base?

4. I hear Lauderdale Lakes ask for $5,000,000(dont have all details)But what's the difference.

Questions that needs a answer, What do you THINK
My Thought's

''REMEMBER WINGATE'' and SISTRUNK CORRIDOR'' That should tell you what the city of Ft. Lauderdale thinks of its residents in the central N.W. area. The city is going broke. The city cant even take care of its internal affairs. The city of Ft. Lauderdale over spent monies developing the N.E. and down town areas, on discrimination law suits, insurance problems, well where do you think they will get the monies from to make up their loss. Think about it. They spend millions defending discrimination law suits instead of settling and getting rid of the management people that is causing the problems, now they are trying to over tax us again. The city squeeze us in our jobs, now they are trying to squeeze us in our homes. Ask the city of Fort Lauderdale what will they give us for 6 million dollars, and exactly how much did they spend defending the Mc, Kutchen, Spence-Brown, Jones, St. Fleur, Del Tora, Rice-Lamar, and other cases of discrimination. I SAY NO TO THE CITY OF ''FORT LAUGHINGDALE'' The most bias city in Florida

If our present Commissioners voted for that $6 million a year for 10 years, they all need to be replaced. Everyone in the county will be paying through the nose on their taxes.
