I also agree that the current board does not seem to care much about addressing the concerns of the residents. I will sign the petition. I do not; however, agree with putting in speed bumps. I agree there is a speeding and parking problem in the neighborhood, but speed bumps are not the best answer. Those that speed will continue to do so - trust me. My last residence was in a neighborhood that decided to put in speed bumps and it did not stop the speeding at all. Secondly, who wants a speed bump right in front of their house? I don't. It takes away from the overall apppearance and appeal of the neighborhood to prospective buyers. I think getting some proactive board members and a real threat of parking/speeding tickets is the best solution... How many of you have heard of Officer Hinkel in the Sugar Creek area? He is practically infamous in Greer for being a pain in the ***. But I would love to have that guy patrolling our neighborhood.... love him or hate him he gets the job done.
