The River Isles Golf Association will be welcoming their members back on the morning of the Welcome Back Fall Fiesta with a special tournament beginning at 7:30 a.m. The format will be a ?“Whack & Hack?” team event. Look for details on the golf bulletin board in the clubhouse and be sure to sign up by Monday, October 22nd.
As our snowbird members arrive back in the community, we once again want to thank all who have volunteered on the many projects in 2007 that have made our course one of the best-maintained courses in the area.
Just a reminder: River Isles homeowners who do not belong to the River Isles Golf Association and their guests are welcomed to play the course whenever there is not a special event or league in progress. You are required to pay the greens fees and cart fees posted on the starter shack. Please be sure to carry your RIHOA membership card for easy recognition by our volunteers manning the starter shack. If you would like to get to know more of your neighbors and have a couple of hours a week to volunteer to work in the starter shack, contact Randy Ray at 748-8218. All help is greatly appreciated. LADIES INVITATIONAL TO THE MEN?…
On Saturday, November 10, the Ladies Golf League will hold their annual Invitational to the Men. The day will begin with a special golf tournament. Men play free while ladies pay the usual league fee. Prizes will be awarded to those men on the winning teams along with some special contests. Please sign up on the golf bulletin board.
All community residents are invited to the luncheon at 1 p.m. The meal will include Arby?’s roast beef sandwich, carrot salad, chips, ice cream cup with cookie. The cost will be $5.00. Please sign up on the homeowners?’ board. Nancy Ray
