We are looking into the new combined yard waste - recycling - trash pickup service offered by IDS, thinking about changing from Waste Management.

No bad experiences with WM, but the yard waste offer looks reasonable -- and IDS is local to Maryland/ Delaware. 

Any comments about service/ other options?

I have IDS, they are o.k., but I take my yard waste down Phila. Pike to Caufield Pkwy.  DNREC has the site available Fri - Sun: 8:30 - 4:00 to dump your yard waste for free!  Also from time to time they have Mulch available for FREE,  They mulch up everything we bring down there.  

I've had IDS for a while and I like them.  I use the recycle and yard waste service and I think it's a good value.  You don't need to use special bags and you can put out 10 bags of yard waste every other week.  It's amazing how much less garbage we have now that we separate the recycleables.  And it couldn't be easier now that everything goes into one container, paper, plastic, glass..
