Is anyone as fed up as I am with dogs barking late into the night? Suggestion. If you hear your dog barking late at night BRING IT IN. Some of us need to get up early to go to work and it's kind of hard to fall alseep when there are dogs continually barking all night long.

Get the address and report them to the HOA. Section 4.8 paragraph 2 states '' No animal, bird, fowl, poultry or livestock shall be allowed to make an unreasonable amount of noise or to become a nuisance. '' The HOA can fine the owners and even require the removal of the animal.

I would hate to see it go that far, but it is inconsiderate that people allow their dogs to bark continually at night. Bring your dog in the house for crying out loud!

I agree. I will let our dogs be dogs and bark for 10 minutes or so during the day, but the minute they open their mouths past 7pm or so, in the house they come. Even during the day people, don't continually leave your dog(s) out to bark. Some people work nights and sleep during the day, some have children who take naps, some are sick and are trying to sleep, having your dog for a long period of time and any hour of the day is very inconsiderate.

Also, please be aware that you MUST have water available and in their reach at all times, they must be fed at least once a day, and there must be shelter and adaquate shade for each animal that you have outside. If any of of these items is not met it is considered animal cruelty and you could have your animal taken by animal control.

Here's an idea

Go talk to the person with the dog, that usually works. Don't rely on the HOA to do anything. They barely take care of the landscaping without being prompted, so taking care of your personal concerns would be quite a stretch.

Besides, they have no real power to do anything. Have them try to remove someone's animal from private property and see what happens. There was an abandoned car on our street for three months and they refused to do anything about it.
