Hello neighbors, when is the next clean up date?  I have some excited youth (Boy scouts- troop 1741) that would luv to help.

Hello neighbors, I have a question.  Do you have a problem with RATS?  I do and I know several of my neighbors do too.  It's not just one or two un-welcomed visitors  it's more like eight to twelve, even more in some cases.   What can we do besides moving?  Contact the county and let them know.  Seal all possible access points into your house.  These little critters can fit through a hole no bigger than a nickle.So do a walk around and look around for possible entry points and spray some foam sealant in the hole to keep them OUT.  KEEP the GRASS CUT LOW. Do NOT let leaves or debris build up in your back yard.  Talk to your neighbors, they share your frustrations when it comes to rodent management but some of them have great ideas on how to build a better mouse(RAT) trap.  Remember to call the county and complain. They are the ones that designed the open air drainage system that connects to the hillsborough river and runs throughout our community. There are some steps to maintain control that the county can do. If you have pets and they stay outdoors, make sure they get their rabies  vaccine.  Good luck!
