Here in the 400 block of N. 40th my next door neighbor's son who is about 12 yrs. old opened the back door to let the dog out and was startled to find a black male, late teens, early 20's, standing within a few feet of their back door facing the door. When he saw the boy he ran away out of the yard into the alley. The guy was wearing a lighter blue hoodie with the hood up.
Please remember to lock your doors even when you are home. Colder weather also attracts problems because most people are in doors and are not as likely to see or hear things.
