Did any one know that a church was going to be built on the SW Corner of Westwing PKW and Black Rock? When I moved in it was my understanding the area was going to be a 10 acre park. I am concerned about the traffic this will create and I never thought we would have a large commercial building right in the middle of our community. Why do we need a church when we have so many around us like CCV and Joy??? When was this voted on to allow the sale of this land? To see the plans go to copperhill.org. No Church

Great, more bad news. Besides the park going in the same area now there is going to be a church. Can't guys just leave land alone. I have view fencing that over looks that area and I don't want anything there. Why can't the community vote on things like that we don't need another damn church or park. It distroys our natural desert land.

Church Building

We're not too happy about it either. We feel that commercial sites of any kind would detract from the look of our community. Not only the traffic, but the noise and the pollution of all the cars will be annoying. I feel very bad for the residents living in the near vicinity. I recall being told that there is also commercial property to be sold right on the corner at the light, in front of the community office. Can you imagine a convenience store of some sort there. We are outraged!
