Parkwood Ranch HOA

Is anyone else in the parkwood ranch area having cricket problems ????
We have a pest control service once a month. We spray in the interum ourselves. But still more crickets.They come over the walls into our yard and home.
Is this perhaps just in areas bordering the green belts?
We have no grass and water only a few plants.
Should the hoa spray the green belts ????
Does anyone else have this problem???
How can it be solved ??????

Crickets

I can't afford to pay these guys $25 or $30 a month. A company sprayed our yard for $40 last May, and since then I've taken care of the problem. I bought some diazinon from Home Depot and put it around the yard according to the instructions, and it seemed to help a lot. We've still had a few crickets come in the house, but we just kill 'em. We have grass in the back as well as the front. Quite a few homes have pools and fountains. But it was never this bad where we came from.

We also used the same product & it appeared to be effective....maybe down the road as the area gets more established hoa will realize maybe ..... they might help...Thanks for your input Frank....

And the problem with crickets is...?Geez,are they the wrong color or tone? That they don't wear watches and keep odd hours? Sorry, but it just seems silly to be SO bothered by crickets. Feel blessed that it's not 1933. Those swarms were bothersome.
