Cars on the curb

I remember getting something in the mail asking our opinions about so many cars being parked on the street, has that ever been officially addressed? I understand when a family has several children and they all are driving cars, but we have several houses on our street that ONLY park on the curb and NEVER use their driveway. It makes getting in and out of my driveway a real hassle, an accident waiting to happen.  These cars look really bad when you are driving down the street. Driving home yesterday I counted 14 cars parked along a short span of my street. I thought we moved AWAY from neighborhoods that allowed this.

I am also very frustrated with the parking in the street situation.  Who is charge of enfrocing the parking regulations in our neighborhoods and why isn't more being done? I see cars parked blocking the sidewalks, opposite driveways, parked on front  lawns and  blocking residents driveways. The other night I saw a truck parked half in the driveway and half in the street all night! What is that? Maybe our HOA members could do a drive through for the next couple weeks and personally take note of all the violations. Apparently people think this is okay. Let's remind them of the guidelines and if it continues start issuing fines. This has been an ongoing problem for way too long. It's time for our HOA to take action.
