Beau- did you get my message in reply to your email? I have contacted Hal Seckinger, who worked for my dad-- his email is HSECKINGER1@tampabay.rr.com and he may be able to provide you with some information. He know Wahl and may have worked for him briefly. Anyway, if you can tell me what museum you contacted and the person, maybe I can get some infor or plans for free if my father exhibited there. Can you forward a copy of the brochure?. You can send me infor directly into my email at smnins@gmail.com if you want to get out of the neighborhood forum. Did you get the message that i live in Versailles, KY?

Letme hear from you.

There is also a neighborhood in Baton Rouge called "Fairfax Heights" that is entirely Crawford Homes.

I love hearing about the history of Highgate Springs.  My dad was a Title attorney, and I inherited an interest in maps from him.  My parents bought their house here in Highgate Springs in 1967 for $16,100.  I still live here.  (I had moved out after college, but moved back in to take care of my mother, who died last year, here).  I know the neighboood started construction around 1953 because I have some old plats.  It's all very interesting to me, and I wish I had more information to give everybody, but I don't know who the architects were, just that Crawford Homes was the developer, as they are printed on my street's plat.

Gordon ,I too am a lifelong Highgate springer (1955). Melbourne  and Seneca High School. I have drawings of the streets and the original broucher from Crawford homes. Snyder and Nims were partners in Florida and designed affordable home for returning G. I.'s . There's no mention of architects on anything I found about our homes. There is a reference about the marble pebble roof on Crawfords home in Baton Rouge and there were several houses (mine) that had the marble pebble roof. I have a copy of the Atomic Ranch magazine that is about Hamilton Crawford. Beau
