Do not join the new web site until we know more about it. Is Mr. Isenor the moderator of this site? He is an internet child predator. If he built this site, he will have all your information after you have joined. This will include your IP address. My guess is that he has all this information about all of us now from the current web site. My understanding is that this man has a vast knowledge of the internet . He knows things that allow him to do things that most of us would think were impossible. To late for me, I have joined already.

I would suggest that everyone change all passwords on your system. If you do not have good firewalls he could get in and obtain personal information. The reason I mention this is that he allready has access to our IP addresses.

This man should be barred by the government from any internet access. I know there is not a law to this affect but there should be. Once a person is convicted of being an internet child predator, they should be banned from the internet. Once caught back on the internet, they should receive a mandatory sentance of ten years without the hope of early parole. These people are sick. An illness they do not recover from. It is not if they strike again, it is when will they strike again.

Mr. Isenor, we are not harrassing you. We are informing each other. You should do the right thing. Resign from our HOA board. Do not force us to take legal action to have you removed. My understanding is that the board of directors by a majority vote may remove a fellow member. HOA board, ACT NOW. Remove this predator if he will not resign. Do not allow him to have any access to our internet web site.

Mr. Isenor, do the right thing...RESIGN!!!

Squeekywheel - speaking specifically about Neighborhood Link, I can confidently say that Mr. Isenor does not have access to your password or IP address from our site; per our privacy policy only Neighborhood Link employees have that information and anyone else needs a subpoena to see it.

Site coordinators (usually, but not always, your HOA) have access to email addresses for other coordinators for the site.  They have the ability to mark a post as moderated - the original text of the post is replaced by a message saying it was deleted by the site coordinator.  Unless you have chosen to post your real name, email address, etc in the discussion area, the information under the "This information is not visible to the public" section of your profile is not available to site coordinators - just to Neighborhood Link employees.  Mr Isenor is not a Neighborhood Link employee.

Mr Isenor is also not currently a site coordinator for any site on our network; he has the same level of access that you do meaning he can post in the discussion area, read what's posted, and that's it.

I can't speak to the specifics of Mr. Isenor's personal site since it's not on the Neighborhood Link network.  It is safe to assume that whoever pays for a site has access to (or can give themselves access to) usernames, passwords, IP addresses, etc for users of that site.  If you typically use the same password on many sites and you no longer trust one of the sites where you've used it, it's a good idea to change your password on the other sites.

Hope this helps; if you have any specific questions about our site's security, privacy policy, etc please do post them, or email info@neighborhoodlink.com if you don't want the questions and answers to be public.

In light of everything that has been revealed recently, I recommend that we stay with the Neighborhood Link website.  It sounds like it is a much safer internet site than a "home-made" site.  Yes, Neighborhood Link changed a little and may be slower than before, but once you're used to the different look, it is still a great website.

Because of the potential security risks, I will not be using the new website, regardless of who the webmaster is and regardless of who maintains it going forward.  I hope that the website switch-over is thoroughly discussed by the Board before we shut down our Neighborhood Link site.

Very reasonable thoughts... I am in agreement.
