North Ranch Community Tennant Association

This Sanctuary is now developed and being enhanced as we go along. It hosts a mile long handicapped accessible nature trail with selected viewing sites along the way. It is located in the environmental section of lower Lincoln Park located at 8280 East Escalante Rd. It is being maintained through the efforts of the Youth Employment & Enhancement Program. However, funding is no longer available through the City and we are scrambling to find funding to keep the program going as well as maintain this sanctuary. Cox Communications provided us with a $10,000 grant which funded the program for 1/2 of the work year (September-February). Now we are looking for funding for the rest of the season and years to come. We have 1 supervisor and 4 youths who are paid minimum wage and they work really hard. Work only on week-ends, must stay in school and do well to stay in the program. If you know of a funding source, please let us know. We hate to see all of this project, donations in the past, work, and progress now go to waste.
