“WHO LET THE DOG LOOSE”

HAVE YOU SEEN UNLEASED DOGS IN YOUR

COMMUNITY PARKS, BEACHES, OR NEIGHBORHOODS?

“Who Let the Dog Loose” initiative will allow community residents to

take action when they observe unleashed dogs in their community by

contacting Hillsborough County Animals Services - 744-5660. You

will need to provide the following information when calling:

A plate number of a vehicle, the incident time/date and location,

a description of the dog and a description of the person with the

unleashed dog. You can provide this information anonymously.

Animal Control will send out a courtesy notice to the violator.

Any further progressive discipline will only come if the

complaining party is willing to come forward and testify about

the violation at civil hearing. Fines: first violation $170.00 –

second violation 270.00 and third violation – Court Appearance
