Unofficial results for Mesa's General Election released

The Maricopa County Elections Department released unofficial results from Mesa's May 16 General Election today. Final results will be displayed as soon as the County makes them available.

Unofficial results follow:

--Proposition 100: Ordinances in General
YES - 16,968 - 35.11%
NO - 31,366 - 64.89%

--Proposition 101: Appointive Officers (City Auditor)
YES - 27,610 - 56.32%
NO - 21,412 - 43.68%

--Question 1: City's Transaction Privilege Tax (Sales Tax)
YES - 30,352 - 60.22%
NO - 20,051 - 39.78%

--Question 2: Primary Property Tax Implementation
YES - 19,965 - 39.61%
NO - 30,439 - 60.39%
