Montclaire South HOA

Hello! My wife and I are moving from Germany (stationed with the USAF) to Charlotte for Bible College and Seminary. We are looking at the town homes in Kings Creek 28273. What do you think of this neighborhood? We are going to use our GI bill to pay for most of the townhouse so we are not too picky because of our price point, but we also want to feel safe. Any information will be helpful... as you might guess house hunting from another continent can be difficult. We don't have any connections in Charlotte (never even been there) which just adds to difficulties. Thank you for your help!
