I?’d like to give you an update on what the Board has done to meet the mission that we outlined in the last newsletter.

Preserving and protecting your investment in Mogollon Estates: the Improvement Committee closed out a number of outstanding items. Only a few Owners have not been responsive. The vast majority continue to maintain their property in a condition that enhances our Community.

Improving Communication between Owners and the Board: the Board is now publishing this quarterly newsletter. The goal is to be informative and provide an opportunity to question and answer. A commercial sponsor is offsetting the cost of the quarterly newsletter. The Board has also set up a web site. This is a ?“Work In Progress?” and will provide another way to communicate. We will advise you of the address as soon as it is operational. We have also set up a better display process for both Agenda and Minutes at our Entrance Sign.

Making Board service more enjoyable and rewarding: We have made a real effort to get to know each other. When asked, most Board members submitted a brief biography. The peer pressure is growing on those that have not, to the extent that one bio?’ was actually ?“ghost written.?” We also met socially with our spouses. The point being the Board needs to be truly representative of all our community members and needs to understand the differing backgrounds and interests. Our intention is to provide expanded opportunities like this in the near future for all Owners.
