Mitchell Park West Neighbors

Hello -

We have made some further progress on the art grant that we want to apply for in 2010. We are really excited about this project and it's looking like it has a lot of potential. I will be posting the "call to artists" and the art grant calendar(if I can figure out how) on this site asap.

I would also like to come to the Thursday night meeting to talk to the board about our progress.

We have talked to the city about the grant and they are really excited to see our neighborhood applying. They are excited that we want to make the median more beautiful, which is great news.

Great. I will try to make it quick :) 

We just posted the Art Grant information on the Neighborhood site. We will add some pictures of the location where we are hoping to install the artwork. We this this will help everyone visualize it even more.

THE DEADLINE FOR THE CALL TO ARTISTS SUBMITTALS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 25th.

A revised document reflecting this extension will be posted to the Web site soon.
