Yard Sale Information

Due to the traffic control & parking issues associated with yard sales in this community, the HOA is asking all homeowners for their cooperation in making sure that we are all respectful of our neighbors while holding yard sales within the community.

We ask that yard sales be limited to two (2) per year. One (1) would be a “Community” yard sale in that everyone in the community would be having a yard sale at the same time on the same date. Hopefully we will be able to hold the Community yard sale each summer with dates varying according to weather. The other yard sale would be left up to the discretion of the homeowner but we ask that they be limited to only one (1) per year. This will hopefully assist the community with traffic control and prevent parking issues. And if you are having a yard sale, please be respectful of your neighbors. If you see someone parking in front of a neighbor’s driveway or mailbox, or blocking a neighbor’s car, please ask that person to move. It is unfair for your neighbors to not have their mail delivered or not be able to get out of their driveway because of someone blocking them in.

Please do not take offense to this as the HOA is not trying to target anyone. There have just been a growing number of complaints about the parking and traffic due to yard sales, so to accommodate everyone in the community, we are asking for cooperation from all homeowners. We as the HOA have to try to balance what is best for everyone in the community with finding a solution to our ever increasing traffic & parking problems.
