At 7:30 tonight a small sporty car drove past our house and I noticed it was slowing down.
The lights went completely off and the car kept driving slowly. Then I heard a noise that sounded like a thud and a skid...
The car drove a little further and then the lights were turned back on.
After they drove down the street and turned - I saw that they had tossed a partially filled wax paper soft drink cup with lid and straw into the street.
I have a good idea of the color and body style and will be on the lookout for this car - I believe it is someone from the neighborhood.
We have found a lot of cups/fast food trash in our street and assumed it was different/random cars driving by, but clearly this could mean that one person is responsible for most of the litter.
I'll try to get a plate next time - clearly they killed their lights in case someone was watching...
