Great News for Londonderry Road Drivers

Posted in: Madison Park

The Mecklenburg County Solid Waste Services had one of their CEO crews clean up the overgrowth on CMS property at the rear of 5200 Londonderry Road's home.

You can see see traffic coming far up Tyvola road.   Prior you could not see past the property line because of the overgrowth.  It made an already dangerous exit to Tyvola even more dangerous from Londonderry Road.

Thanks to Mecklenburg County Solid Waste and CEO program manager Laurette Hall with Solid Waste Services for your help getting this matter corrected!

It is much appreciated!

CMS had promised to correct!   They didn't!

Code enforcement officer sent letter to CMS which they ignored.   He did get the resident of 5200 to clean along the sidewalk median even further than was their property.

CDOT said they had not funds and were going to make the resident at 5200 Londonderry clean it up. The problem was it was not really their issue.   Most was on CMS land.

When I learned about the CEO program (x-cons) working in two teams for Mecklenburg County Solid Waste I asked if they might could address this issue.   I sent pictures and they agreed to do the work.

So A huge Thanks to Laurette Hall the program manager for the CEO program with the county.
