You are required to registered to vote at least 25 days prior to an election in NC.
However don't woory if you missed that deadline.
Like many rules in NC this one really does not mean anything.
All you have to do it show up with proper papers at an early voting site and you can register and vote the same day.
The only thing is on election day you can not vote if you were not already registered.
Again though all you need to do it go to an early voting site during early voting and you can still vote in person if you have the required papers to sign up.
