Dear Martin,
What’s one of the first things you do when you get a new pet?
Probably spend way too much time agonizing over the perfect collar. That’s because a collar is a lot like a wedding ring—it’s a symbol of our promise to always love and care for our pet.
A new collar and a loving new home: that’s the goal for every animal here at the Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC)! And that journey ?Ÿ?¾?Ÿ?¾?Ÿ?¾?Ÿ?¾?Ÿ?¾ begins with what you do today.

When Shrimp came to HSC, he hadn't worn a permanent collar in quite a while. After spending seven months in another shelter, he had no idea who we were, where he was, or what to expect when we took him in. Little did he know, that was all about to change, and we were determined to find his perfect match.
That’s our promise to the animals in our care. A promise you help us keep through your generous support.
With lots of one-on-one attention, nourishing food, treatment for heartworms, and some positive socialization, Shrimp bounced out of his shell and into the heart of his new family.
But for every Shrimp, there are hundreds, thousands, of animals in need. Animals who might not get second chances, or opportunities to find new homes, if we—YOU—weren’t here for them, keeping our promise.
Now, more than ever, our furry friends are counting on you.
Sincerely,

P.S. This year has been incredibly difficult and has taken a tremendous toll on our already stretched resources. To help more pets on their journey to not only a fabulous collar, but also to a loving new home ?Ÿ? , please make a gift today. Thanks for being such a loyal friend to our four-legged friends.?Ÿ?•
