August Donor Spotlight: Becky & Matt Kislowski

Meet this months featured donors, Becky and Matt Kislowski!
Becky and Matt became HSC donors many years ago and have supported the organization's adoption efforts, fence building program, community wellness clinic, pet food bank, spay & neuter services, and educational programming. Most recently, they became active donors and committee participants of the We Are Family Capital Campaign supporting the development of the new HSC Animal Resource Center.
They've chosen to continue donating to HSC over the years because of the organization's proactivity in providing life-changing services and resources to ensure that animals are able to remain with their families long-term.
Becky is originally from Stow, Ohio and has been in Charlotte for 15 years. Matt was raised in Raleigh and moved to Charlotte 25 years ago. They have an 8-year-old chocolate lab named Franklin and a 5-year-old yellow lab mix named Flour who was adopted from HSC!

We Are Family Capital Campaign Update

HSC's We Are Family Capital Campaign is moving along and we've added new partners! RL Architecture and Myers & Chapman Construction Services joined the project in July. For more than 42 years, the Humane Society of Charlotte has served the greater Charlotte community from facilities that are aging and inadequate. The We Are Family campaign has raised just under $12 million of the $15 million goal to begin construction on the first animal welfare resource center in the city of Charlotte.
