Message From Ruth on Halloween Food Trucks

Posted in: Madison Park

The Madison Park Neighborhood has overwhelmingly voted to support an October 31st  Trunk or Treat / Halloween Food Truck Rally event this year.  This funding campaign is to cover the costs of hosting this event in our own Madison Park Central Park. The dream is to have live entertainment, food trucks and an awesome turnout of neighborhood families to enjoy a couple of hours enjoying dinner and trick or treating before they make their rounds on our neighborhood streets.

Ruth has the $185 needed for the permit.   She is working through the permit process.   Thanks to those that helped with that cost.    She will still have some expenses with trash collection etc. if anyone wishes to kick in any more funds.   She also was hoping to have some music.   That will all depend on funds raised.   The permit ended up costing more than double what she had initially read the cost was for the permit.  If anyone wants to help with entertainment contact Ruth directly.  Ruthtansill@gmail.com

Thanks to the generosity of so many we have raised the money to pay for the permit requirements. The additional money needs would address event marketing and event entertainment costs. What an amazing crowd of people live in this neighborhood who want to invest in community building moments
like flag displays, curbside luminaries, food truck rallies and shred it events.

Here’s a taste of the sounds and songs we could use to fill the air of our dinner affaur on Tuesday 10/31.

Neighbors

YOU did it!! The money is raised to meet the code ordinance requirements. Now here’s a taste of the sounds and songs we could add to fill the air of our dinner affair, if the funds come in
