Homework
1) Log in to Wedgewood's online directory and learn names of Wedgewoodians and visitors.  On your smart phone make sure you hit the refresh button every now and then so the directory will be updated.

2) Bring Peanut Butter, Jelly and bread this Sunday for our PB&J Sandwich ministry.  Plan to make sandwiches after church in the Jim Rivers Hall.
3) Put fellowship meal (Potluck), Sunday August 9 on  your calendar.  I'll let you in on a big secret.  Annie and Robert Wylie are joining Wedgewood and their family will be present for the worship service and the meal.
4) Inform Wedgewood children that Wedgewood's huge/fast waterslide will be up for kids to enjoy after the fellowship meals on Sunday, August 9 and Sunday, September 13.

Taize Worship This Wednesday at 7 pm

Taize service this Wednesday at 7 pm led by Sarah DeShields and accompanied by her husband, Kevin DeShields. They are amazing. What is Taize? Well, it's Pastor Chris' favorite worship. Taize is a very simple service. Taize is a monastic community in France, which developed a communally contemplative way of worship that is deeply restful and rejuvenating. There is no preaching or teaching, just very short songs that repeat, prayers, scripture and silence. And lots of candles! If that sounds good to you we'd love to see you! Childcare provided.
