In recent news, there has been a confirmed case of the new strain of canine influenza in a county in Western North Carolina.  If you have concerns or questions about protecting your pet, you should contact your veterinarian to seek their recommendations as to what is best for your pet.  The symptoms of canine influenza can be similar symptoms as an upper respiratory infection.  If your dog is exhibiting these symptoms do not expose it to other dogs and seek medical attention from your veterinarian.??‹
