Be Aware of this incident and remember to watch your valuables even when pumping gas. Don't leave your purse on the front seat of the car with the window down or door unlocked on the passenger side.
Another thing to watch for when shopping. I remember seeing a couple of our seniors in Foodlion one time and they both were shopping together and left their purses in the top of the cart, and walked away from their carts. Not a good idea!
Another female Madison Park resident was in that same store and had a lady start to ask her a questions about some baked goods on display. While that conversation was going on the stranger that started the conversation had a companion that came up and swiped her purse out of her cart. He was seen on camera exiting the store with the purse. The lady left next as her purpose was just to distract.
